	Luxury Tented Camps These combine the true bush experience without sacrificing modern basic creature comforts. You can experience the sounds and magic of being right out there amongst the wildlife sleeping under canvas in a 5 star environment. Each tent is equipped with a comfortable fully sprung bed, a few items of useful furniture and has an en-suite bathroom with running hot and cold water, shower and flush toilet. The camps have restaurant and bar facilities, the standards of cuisine and presentation are superb. These camps are more expensive than the Lodges, however, the price is inclusive of all game drives in the camp's own 4x4 vehicles, Land rovers, Land cruisers or similar and the services of their own qualified guides. For a nominal fee (around £50-£70 per day.) extra, exclusive use of both can be made available at the time of booking.
	Luxury Hotels & Lodges These are also located in prime locations right out there in the bush. They are constructed in the main of local materials so that they blend very well into the surrounding habitat. Here you will be staying in a permanent construction, a small cottage or room to 4 or 5 star hotel standard. A swimming pool, restaurant, bar's and gift shops come as standard. The lodges are usually surrounded by beautifully tended gardens where you can take a leisurely stroll, see a little wildlife or relax and partake of some tea (but watch out for the Vervet monkeys, they are partial to sugar and snacks!)
	Luxury Beach Hotels Very many located right at the edge of the beautiful white beaches. These hotels offer many activities and excursions to surrounding places of interest, which can easily be organised at the time of arrival. 4 and 5 star rating is normal. All boast a substantial swimming pool, gift shop, hairdresser and usually gym facilities. Sports and leisure activities are usually offered with a resident expert and equipment rental.
	Private Bush Camps This is a much more basic tented camp, emulating the safari camps of old. Still more comfortable than the ones boy scouts enjoyed. Bucket showers and kerosene lamps are generally employed, however food is still prepared and presented with grace and style. As a general rule these camps are in more remote locations and tend to be much smaller and intimate than the luxury tented camps. A true "Bush experience" for the more intrepid traveller.
	Eco-Camps & Lodges These are lodges and camps that have been built of local sustainable materials on land owned by the local people usually Masai or Samburu, or on land leased from local people by outsiders, generating a new source of income. Money therefore goes back directly to helping the true "citizens" of Kenya, to promoting much needed Schools and education medical clinics, clean water and many other basic requirements that we in the west take so much for granted. They are built and managed to a very high standard.
